My name is Steven Valdez and I love the energy of a good party. As founder of Valdez Productions, I'm well-versed in music across all genres, except for maybe death metal and polka. I believe every event needs a backbone, and that backbone is the DJ.

I'm in this industry because thirteen years ago I attended three parties in a row where the DJ nearly ruined the festivities with their poor jokes, bad communication, and lackluster music. As a dynamic presenter and music connoisseur, I knew I could do better. So, I purchased equipment and started DJ'ing for friends and family. Then I spent a few years with a local Phoenix events company, working corporate events, retirement parties, weddings and more. Finally, in 2019, I launched my own company, Valdez Productions. 

 

As an emcee, I spend just enough time on the mic to communicate clearly and pleasantly with guests without overtalking. As DJ, I'll always play music tailored to the vibe. At Valdez Productions, our biggest priority is that your event runs smoothly, which means we've always got your best interests in mind.
